As the founder of dcp interiors, Vassoulla Francis draws from over 10 years experience within the industry. Her design aesthetic has evolved not only through experience, but also from a long time passion for colour & interiors; a keen attention to design & architectural detail, & continuous research in these fields.
Vassoulla’s journey into architecture began 16 years ago with an Associate Diploma in Architectural Drafting with distinction. From here, her experience has ranged from residential and heritage alterations and additions, to kitchen design, and then a stint running her families retail business. Travel followed, and then after 8 years working in hospitality and commercial construction, she returns to her long time passion – interiors!!
Recently she has sought to update and upgrade her knowledge and skills by studying further at the International School of Colour and Design, graduating with both Certificate IV in Design and a Diploma in Interior Styling.
A testament to her knowledge and passion was her recent invitation to participate in the 2007 Sydney Home show where she, along with a colleague, presented seminars on decorating titled “Using Colour, Texture & Pattern to rejuvenate your home”. These seminars were well received, and she is looking forward to participating again in the future.
